Portraits
Creating a portrait that shows who the person is, what they do, what their personality is like, what experiences they’ve been through, and how do they want to show up in the world is something I truly love doing. Meeting the person where they are at, getting to know them on a personal level, and using all the information I’ve gathered to make a portrait that tells not just a story, but THEIR story. I want my portraits to feel like you are there in the same space, and we are all just hanging out and learning about this beautiful person.
Headshots are boring, and it hardly shows the viewers anything about you.

Angel Ward
I met Angel on the island of Guam in 2014. In the year 2020 we were both out of the military and living our new civilian lives. She moved out to California and was working on her degree, being a model, and enjoying the beaches and west-coast ocean sunsets. We planned a meet-up and I flew out to see my old island friend. We explored the whole area, beautiful hikes, beaches, waterfalls, deserts (we forgot water…), and she was kind enough to cook some for my poor hungover body because I went out with some other military guys one night.
She was also Miss San Diego for a time and these images added to her portfolio and to this day, they are still some of my favorites. Beautiful locations with friends are memories that stick.
